So what are the details of your agreement with us?

Site Security

At Artful we value site security and as a result when you host with us we will install our preferred security software Admin Tools onto your website - free of charge. We won’t host any sites that don't have robust security software!

Backups

Artful will complete weekly backups of your site and store them locally and also offsite with our preferred cloud based supplier. We will also install our preferred backup software (Akeeba Backup Pro) too.

Updates

Periodically (3/4 times per year) the Content Management System (CMS) of your website and associated components & plugins require updating. These updates keep your website up to date, responsive across all platforms/devices and most importantly secure. Where possible we will complete these upgrades with minimal disruption to your business.

Updates included in your hosting package are;

• CMS, such as Joomla, Wordpress etc.
• Akeeba Backup Pro
• Admin Tools Pro
• JCE Editor

All other components/plugins that require updating will be completed as required at our standard hourly rate of $120 p.h. inc GST with an invoice sent upon completion. Most updates take less than 1 hour to complete, however if we do encounter any issues, we will halt work and contact you for consent before we continue. It is a requirement of hosting with Artful that all of your website components and plugins are kept up to date.

Invoicing/Rates/Charges

Artful’s invoicing terms are 7 days from the invoice date. If you require more time to pay an invoice, please contact us as we are more than happy to discuss payment options. Accounts which are greater than 30 days in arrears, may be suspended until payment has been made. This means your website and email (if applicable) will go off the air. If payment is not made your service will be terminated after 2 months. Reinstatement of your account may incur a charge. You may pay your account online via PayPal here.

Support

At Artful we will never leave you ‘high and dry’ without support! Your call will be answered promptly by a real human and we will do everything we can to help you out!

Some, not so, fine print!

If migrating from another hosting provider you will also be charged a nominal migration fee of $220. This migration fee includes up to 4 hours work to bring your existing website and/or emails over to our hosting server. In the event that the migration process takes longer than 4 hours, due to no fault of ours, you will be contacted and advised that further time will be charged at our hourly rate.

Up to 6 months development hosting is provided on a development domain during the creation of a new website. If the site is not completed in that time, due to no fault of ours, you will be charged for the hosting of the site on that development domain.

It is assumed that, upon paying your hosting invoice, you agree to our above terms.

We host Joomla, Wordpress, Opencart & other websites, as well as email hosting & DNS hosting, on an Australian server.

We build flexible websites, in Joomla, that are easily updated and managed yourselves. 

We can also convert Wordpress websites into our powerful Joomla framework.

And we ALWAYS build sites with Google in mind, optimising sites almost unconciously to give your business the best chance to be found organically in a web search.
