Here's my shortlist for Windows support people. I'd suggest you speak to all of them and see who seems to be the best fit for you. But basically if I was looking for someone, this would be my shortlist. They've all done work for clients and received good feedback.

Several of our hosting clients use Tai for Windows and network support and are all very happy with him. Although he is not local he does seem to be happy to travel far and wide. All my dealings with him have been good and he seems keen to go the extra mile to fix network or email issues and keeps us in the loop.

We use Patrick for high-end web programming and troubleshooting, he is also very experienced in Windows support. I've found him to be a good guy and very quick and a good troubleshooter (He is often flat out though as he is in high demand).

Darren is highly recommended by an IT guru, Peter, that I know very well. Peter has been in Windows support and top-end warehouse software for many decades but is now not taking on new clients. Darren is the guy he chose to replace him while he was away in Europe. I take that as a pretty big tick. I also know Darren through our local business network. Every one of our clients that he's worked with have been very happy.
